Reserving/Applying
-When Reserving, look at the list there and then the Taken List.
-BEFORE ANYONE ASKS:
`Allowed: Original Country Characters
`Not Allowed: States, Provinces, Cities, Other things along those lines, Gender-bends, Chibinations
-Limits are: 2 Canon/2 OC. That should be fair enough.
-Read all the side notes for the application. They're there to help. If you have any other questions I did not cover there, feel free to pm myself or Ivanmod. I have no life so I'll be on a lot and she's in a different timezone than I am so she might be able to get to you at a later time than me.
-You have one week after you reserve to get your app in. I know people who can do this stuff in one day so I think that's plenty of time. If you can't come up with a good enough excuse at the end of your time period or you haven't even bothered to make an account yet, your character will be opened back up to the public.
-If there only minor grammatical errors with your application, you will probably be accepted. If they're a bit more serious and a constant error, you will be asked to revise it a bit. If it's pretty much the worse thing I've ever seen or just really really out of character, it will be denied.
-Sprites are NPC's. Meaning, Non Player Characters. {This means you cannot apply for one.}
Roleplaying
-PG16. At the most. Please try to keep the overall rating PG13, though. This is a Harvest Moon themed roleplay after all.
-Keep in mind of where your character works or lives when you roleplay. Don't just magically say they're in another region without a legit reason. A festival or holiday would be a good enough reason.
-Don't try and turn everything into a drama. This roleplay was made mostly for people who want to get away from that kind of stuff.
-Please run it by me or Ivanmod before you set up an event in your region. I'll leave most of that to the people who decide to be Mayors but keep in mind of where you live again. Each game and area had different festivals. I'm sticking by the game as to what events happen where. I'll come up with cool forum-wide stuff later.
-THIS IS A LITERATE ROLEPLAY. I'm enforcing a two paragraph minimum for all posts. That's not actually too much. Please keep in mind that paragraphs are a good 5-7 sentences each. I'm sure we all went to elementary school or something similar.
-Please post at least once every two weeks. I would much rather once a week but if we can keep this alive to the summer, the rules will be changing to that. I understand a lot of people have school to deal with.
-I'll add more later. Rules are made after someone was stupid enough to do something, anyway.
OOC
-Be nice. Your character is not you. If your character hates another person's character, do not hate them. If you seriously have any issues with a person, send a mod a pm and we'll try and figure something out. Just don't try and start a fight on the cbox or ooc forums or that'll only end badly for you.
-Even though the ooc forums won't be as literate as the actual roleplays, try not to use too much text talk. Not everyone has that translator in their brain.
-If you're going to be on hiatus for awhile, let us know! Post on the hiatus thread and let anyone you're roleplaying with know ahead of time.
-There will be activity checks. If you miss them you will have your account deleted. I will give you a chance to give me a reason why you were not there but if it's something like you didn't bother to post a hiatus thread, I won't buy that. Please don't give me attitude with this, either.
C-Box
-Again, please type so people can understand you.
-Make a chatango account. It doesn't have to be one for your character but it's a lot easier than talking to an Anon or just a name. Pictures are pretty and people remember those better than names...namelyme.
-If someone starts to roleplay in the cbox, make all ooc post in parenthesis! This prevents confusion.
Overall
-Don't be a dick.
